As an English traveler who recently attended the Irish Open Golf at Royal Co. Down, I had the pleasure of staying at Slieve Donard Cottage in Newcastle, Northern Ireland. the hospitality and organization were exceptional, with hosts welcoming us with tea, milk, biscuits, butter, and jam upon arrival. The owners greeted me warmly and provided helpful recommendations for dining and activities in the area. the property was impeccably clean, offering reassurance during these uncertain times. This attention to cleanliness allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday immediately. The location of the cottage was fantastic, with convenient off-street parking and easy access to walking paths. the elevated patio area provided stunning views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. the cozy interior, complete with a wood-burning stove, added to the comfort and charm of the property. the hosts were attentive and welcoming, the location was perfect for exploring the town and surrounding nature, and the cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped. I look forward to returning and experiencing the beauty of this location in different seasons.
